Chicken Broth Rice

This rice recipe is so special because it cooks in a chicken broth. Once you will make this rice you will never make any other rice.
So in this post I will teach you how to make your own chicken broth, divide to plastic containers and freeze. That way will be able to cook with  chicken broth for a long time. I’ll also explain how to make the best rice ever.

The Chicken Broth Preparation

Ingredients

– 6 lbs. of chicken wings
– Water

Instructions

1. Put the chicken wings in a big pot and fill it with water and cook until boil
 2. Boil about 5-6 minutes, in that time range froth will start to appear
3. After froth appear, spill the water and the chicken to strainer in the sink
4. Wash the chicken with a lot of water, and wash the pot or get a new pot
5. Put the chicken wings in the new pot on high hit until it will be brownish.  There is no need for oil
 6.Fill up the pot with water, and boil
 7. After the water is boiling, simmer and cook for another 3 hours
 8. When the chicken broth chilled you can divide it to boxes and freeze

Chicken Broth Rice Recipe

Cooking the Chicken Broth Rice

Ingredients

– 2 cups of rice (I prefer Basmty/ Jasmine Rice)
– 2 cups of chicken broth
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1/3 cup of vegetable oil

Instructions

1. Put the rice bowl and cover it with water.  Leave it for about 40- 60 minute
2.Drain and wash the rice under cold water
3. In a non- stick small pot,  put the chicken broth and the salt on a high hit and cover with a lid until boil
4. After about 5 minutes, most of the water will be gone and small holes will appear in the rice. At that point,  spread the oil evenly

5. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer for 20-25 minutes
6.
To get the cake shape, attach the pot to a tray and turn it upside down

Notes

-Don’t skip on the rice soaking

–  The relation of the rice and the water\chicken broth should be 1-1: meaning, for 1 cup of rice (before soaking it with water) you should use 1 cup of chicken broth

-The relation of the salt and the rice is 1/2- 1: meaning,1/2 a teaspoon of salt for 1 cup of rice
– When you are about to freeze the chicken broth divide it by the amount of rice you usually cook. If you cook 3 cups of rice per meal: freeze every 3 cups of chicken broth per container.
