The Perfect Brownies

I do not really like sweets. I prefer real food rather than deserts (just give me an entire lasagna tray and I’ll show you how to handle it), that is why I don’t often bake cakes and cookies because it’s fattening, and why put a barrier in front of a blind person?
And when I make sweets that are not “healthy” (like dates truffles for example), I make sure not to leave them in the fridge for too long. Last Sunday I made brownies for a friend’s birthday.
It’s a super easy recipe – that always (but always) is a success!!

The Perfect Brownies

Ingredients

  • 400 gr. of dark chocolate (you may use milk chocolate, I just prefer dark chocolate)
  • 200 gr. of butter
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • A handful of walnuts / white chocolate chips (I prefer to add nuts, but my friend's son is allergic to nuts so I used white chocolate)

Instructions

1

Melt the dark chocolate with the butter in Ben Marie, or in the microwave.

2

While the chocolate and the butter are melting, beat the eggs together with the sugar for a few minutes (there is no need to separate the protein from the yolk).

3

When the chocolate and butter are melted, mix them to a smooth, uniform texture and add the mixture to the eggs and stir.

4

Add the cocoa powder, the salt and the flour and mix until smooth.

5

Add the walnuts / white chocolate and mix.

6

Spread baking sheet in a pan and pour the mixture onto it, and place the pan in a preheated oven to 355 ° F for 25-30 minutes.

7

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.

8

After the cake is cooled, remove it from the pan with baking sheet and cut it into cubes.

9

Store in refrigerator.
